报告人简介: 杨彤，香港城市大学数学系讲席教授。主要从事非线性偏微分方程的研究。在Journal of the American Mathematical Society，Communications on Pure and Applied Mathematics等期刊上发表论文190多篇。杨彤教授2018年当选欧洲科学院院士，2021年当选发展中国家科学院院士，2021年当选香港科学院院士, 2021年当选美国数学会会士。所获得得荣誉包括所获得荣誉包括华人数学家大会晨星银奖（1998）, 国家杰出青年基金海外与港澳青年学者合作基金（2004），教育部长江学者奖励计划讲座教授（2005），裘槎基金会高级研究成就奖（Croucher Senior Research Fellowship）（2011），国家自然科学奖二等奖（2012），香港研资局高级研究学者奖（RGC Senior Research Fellow Award）（2020）。杨彤教授曾任香港数学会会长（2016-2020），是数学期刊«Analysis and Applications»的主编之一（2013-2017）以及 Kinetic and Related Models的创刊主编之一，目前还担任Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society 、Journal of the London Mathematical Society 、SIAM Journal of Mathematical Analysis等学术期刊的编委。
