On May 28th, the final of the 2nd Chinese Speech Contest for International Students sponsored by China Road and Bridge Corporation was held in Chang'an University in Xi'an. The international students Wang An from Equatorial Guinea and Han Yichen from Kenya who are jointly trained by CSUST and China Road and Bridge Corporation competed with 15 other international students from Chang'an University, Beijing Jiaotong University and Southeast University. Gan Haiying, Associate Dean of the International College of CSUST, also attended the event.

As an implementation of the second “One Belt, One Road” international cooperation summit forum, the contest aims to enhance the understanding of Chinese culture for international students and demonstrate the achievements of joint training program between universities and enterprises. The contest was divided into a junior group and a senior group. And the international students of CSUST won the second prize and the third prize of the junior group respectively.
