The “Undergraduate Joint Education Program for Electrical Engineering and Automation” co-organized by CSUST and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, USA(UNLV) was officially approved by P.R.C Ministry of Education (Approval Number: MOE43U2A20181947N). This program is another breakthrough for the university after its first "Joint Education Program for Civil Engineering” was approved in 2019.
This program has a four-year schooling and will enroll students from 2019 to 2023 (120 students enrollment each year). According to the teaching plan jointly developed by the two universities, one-third of the professional courses will be taught by US teachers, and the original English textbooks provided by UNLV will be used, while some courses will be taught in both Chinese and English. The program students can obtain an undergraduate diploma and a bachelor's degree in engineering from CSUST, and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from UNLV through inter-school exchange.
